ADHD Testing Process at Bluebonnet Family Psychiatry

  • Meet with our psychiatrist to talk about your symptoms, concerns, and medical history.

  • If clinically appropriate we can offer QbCheck as part of a comprehensive ADHD evaluation.

  • At Bluebonnet, QbCheck is not used as a standalone diagnostic tool, but rather as one component of a thorough, individualized evaluation.

  • We offer this test as self pay.

How QbCheck Works

QbCheck is FDA-cleared, computer-based assessment that provides objective data on attention, impulsivity, and activity levels. The results are used to support clinical assessment, inform diagnostic decision-making, and help monitor treatment progress over time.

During the test, you will be asked to perform a 15 or 20-minute computer-based task. The task measures your ability to maintain attention and impulse control. The web camera uses facial recognition to track your movements during the test. The results are used to create a report which compares your performance to that of other people of the same sex and age who do not have ADHD.
